Hi, I'm Ms. Kayla!
As a former elementary teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education, I’ve always been passionate about nurturing children’s natural creativity and curiosity. But I wanted to teach on my own terms—where learning could be hands-on, messy, and filled with discovery!
That’s why I created Curious Creators, a place where kids can explore, experiment, and create through STEM-inspired crafts, sensory play, and play-based learning experiences. My classes are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and develop critical 'SUPER SKILLS'—all while having a blast!
We believe in process over perfection and making learning fun, inclusive, and engaging. Whether we’re mixing up fizzy science potions, painting with unexpected tools, or crafting with nature, your little one will leave each class feeling proud, inspired, and excited to keep creating!

What We Offer
Our curriculum includes Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) skills to make learning fun. Kids love it!
These aren't your typical arts & crafts projects...
We use the Creative Crafting Curriculum, a unique curriculum that has been developed by a team of experts including an architect, engineer, occupational therapist, and play therapist.
The lessons include STEAM-based learning and gives children the freedom to explore new materials and creative processes.
Every class is focused on a specific theme or topic, allowing children to expand their vocabularies, make real-life connections, develop critical thinking skills, and engage with the content being taught.
It's more than just a craft class...
Songs & Movement
We often include songs, poems, and finger plays related to the topic of each class. Music has so many benefits for young learners and it gets them excited about what we will learn that day.
Interactive Read-Alouds
We will read both fiction and non-fiction picture books and often incorporate a quick mini-lesson or discussion question. Families are sent home with a list of books to encourage more conversations at home.
Arts & Crafts Projects
The art projects include STEAM-based learning, while giving children freedom to explore new materials and creative processes. The children always leave class proud of what they created!
Messy Sensory Play
Does your child love to get messy? So do we! And the best part is your child can explore messy (and non-messy) sensory play and we do all of the clean-up!!

Classes are for ages 2+ with a parent or caregiver in attendance.
Where do classes take place?
Classes are held at various local businesses in Northeast Ohio (Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Bedford, Brecksville). See our Class Schedule for a complete list of class locations.

Who teaches the classes?
Yours truly! (Ms. Kayla) I am a former kinder and 1st grade teacher and have absolutely loved bringing my traditional classroom skills to this new learning environment. Occasionally, my husband will help out with classes. He is a high school science teacher and brings a lot of fun science knowledge to the little ones!
What do I bring to class?
All supplies and materials are provided! All we ask you to bring is your best smile!
What do I wear?
Creativity tends to get messy and could result in paint or other damage to personal items or clothing. Therefore, students are strongly encouraged to DRESS FOR MESS!
What if a class is canceled?
In the rare case that a class may be canceled, you will be notified as soon as possible, and your class will be rescheduled or refunded.

Depending on the project, you may need a stapler or a pair of scissors. The rest is included!

Currently, we do not offer customization options. However, our kits are thoughtfully curated to provide a diverse and engaging creative experience.
Are the instructions easy for children to follow on their own?
Yes, the step-by-step instructions are designed to be kid-friendly, allowing children to explore their creativity independently. Younger children may require some adult assistance.
How long does it take to complete a project from a typical kit?
The time it takes to complete a project varies, but most activities are designed to be completed within 45 minutes to 1 hour. Some projects may be more involved and can be spread out over multiple sessions.
Are the materials environmentally friendly?
We are committed to sustainability. While not all materials are eco-friendly, we strive to minimize environmental impact by using recyclable and biodegradable materials whenever possible.
Can I purchase a single kit without subscribing?
At the moment, we only offer subscription plans. This allows us to provide you with an exciting creative experience every month. If you feel uncertain, you can sign up and receive your first kit, and if you’re not happy you can simply cancel your subscription by sending us an email.
